     Students are trained for fresh water fish farming in ponds of various areas, fishery facilities and watercourses. They are able to do physical and chemistry analysis of water, know fundamentals of breeding work at fish farming, can manage a technology of artificial stripping and are able to supervise operation at fish hatcheries. They master operating sequence at fish - processing, distribution and sale of fish, can measure health state of fish, dose of pharmaceuticals, calculate feeding rations, can do ameliorative actions, liming and fertilization, repair seines and fishing nets, manage service of operation equipment of ponds, fish ponds and nurseries, water poultry farming and aquarium fish breeding. They have knowledge of fisheries, have bases of economy and can keep operating records. 

          Basic data:

• Time of preparation:    3years

• The way of study finalization:    final examination

• Health conditions for admission: serious diseases and disturbances of kinetic unit, heart and blood circulation system diseases blocking middle sized loading, chronic breathing ways and lungs diseases, allergy-epileptic syndromes, collapse states, serious disturbances of sights and visual fields and serious diseases preclusive work at dampness and coldness.

• Used work protective means: are allowed to students free and they can buy them for a written-down value after finishing apprenticeship. They are esp. working suits and boots.

• Work environment: is mainly on ponds and piscatory reservoirs, next at hatcheries, watercourses, at workrooms, power saw trainers and fish-processing facilities.

• Obtaining of work knowledge and skills: is verified by final examinations. An absolvent will be qualified for following doings:

            Fish farming and treatment

• - concentrated and halfconcentrated fish breeding at ponds, meres and fishery facilities

• - operation and management of fish hatchery

• - working at fish factories, nurseries, distribution and sale

• - water management companies working

• - farming economy of minor water reservoirs

• - extensive economy and maitenance of water areas

• - salomon´s fish and crayfish farming

• - operation of aggregates

      Services ancillary fishery production

• - water poultry farming

• - aquaring fish breeding

            Work in firms engaged in agricultural and forestrial production

• - the bases of  work with a hand power saw

• - brush – cutter operation

• - motor vehicles driving

• - the bases of  work with a hand power saw

         The eventuality to obtain the qualification for

• - operator for high-lift truck

• - wheeled tractor skidding

• - team (horse’s) skidding

• - crane operator‘s licence (log stacker) (loading with a hydraulic arm)

• - operation of frame, strap and circular saw

         Form of study:
                - daily with a possibility  of a communitation or an accommodation in boarding
                   houses.

• Contents of a vocational training –

         1st class
boating, manual wood and metal working, tying and reparing  of netting, feeding and feeding additionally to fish, cutting out aquatic plants, preparation of nurseries and delivery  of fish.

        2nd class
fishing out of ponds, hibernating pond’s treatment, tentetive fishing on free water, amelioration, water poultry farming, aquarium fish and crayfish breeding, mechaniyed means‘ service.

        3rd class
service of operation equipment of ponds, technological processing of fish, breeding work, work with power saw and brush cutters, work with loader, free water farming, extensive farming.
