Students are prepared for operation and handling
on woodworking machines for half-final and final products,
saw-timber manipulation to saw products, preparation of half and
final products before impregnation. Manual and mechanical wood -
working, carpentry and building of hunting facilities.
Basic
data:
Time of preparation: 3 years.
Basic conditions for admission: successful
finalization of basic school, health fitness.
The way of study finalization: final examination.
Health conditions for admission: disturbances of
wing and kinetic unit, chronic and allergic fish-skin disease, esp.
of hands, breathing ways disease, hypersensitiveness to
irritants hamper. Heart’s diseases, digestive tract’s and nervous
diseases hunger too. Impaired vision, when a central visual acuity
at least of one eye doesn’t reach 5/5 with eventual glasses
correction.
Used
work protective means: are allowed to students free provided
that they will buy them for a written-down value after finishing
apprenticeship. There are esp. working suits and boots.
Work environment: is mainly at sawmill department and workrooms,
where a wood is operated. Carpentry is practiced by forest - hunting
constructions outside.
Obtaining of main knowledge and skills: is verified by final
examinations. An absolvent would manage preparing of machines and
units for woodworking, including saw timber and other base material.
He would be able to work on a sawmill machine and a strap-saw, serve
transporters, manually hack a wood, join together wood elements, fix
and assemble simple carpenter constructions.
Form
of study: daily with a possibility of a commutation or an
accommodation in boarding houses.

saw-man, carpenter.
Theoretical class-work: Czech language, Bases of ecology,
Mathematics, Physics, Physical training, Technology, Materials,
Engineering, technical drawing, Economy, Electricity, Manufacturing
equipment, Basis of automation.
Vocational
training: Manual metalworking, Manual woodworking,
Measurement and construction drawing, Preparing of wood before
manipulation, machines and fixing of instruments, jointing of wood,
machine woodworking, fixing and assembling of woody constructions,
building of hunting facilities.
Possibility of another study:
at 1st and 2nd
class is possible transferring to the Forestry Technical School in
Hranice, after the finalization of school – 3 years extension with
graduation (school - living exams), 2 years extensional study of
forestry.
